Providing family support services in the greater Dublin area

child_family1_240.jpgThe Daughters of Charity Service for Children and Families recognizes the essential dignity and potential of every person and the right of every child to live as full a life as possible within his or her natural family. The Service strives to promote the welfare of the child and the family and to respect and protect their rights.

To this end the Service is committed to providing and supporting, within the resources available, trained personnel, specialist facilities and developmental programmes so that the children and families who use the Service can reach their full potential. The Service will work, where possible, in partnership with families for the benefit of the child and the family.

The Service will be characterized by its continual development, its respect for the privacy of the children and their families, observance of the law in relation to Child Care as well as striving to achieve excellence in the services provided. The Service will be provided with love, respect and openness to new and creative ways of meeting the needs of the children and their families.
